teaching &
prayer
Our vision is simple: teaching and prayer. Students learning to seek God, pray together, and sit under good teaching.
why maranatha?
“Maranatha” is one of the oldest prayers of the church. It means “Come, Lord Jesus.” It is a word of longing, hope, and expectation: Jesus is coming, and we live ready.
That hope shapes how we learn and how we pray. We do not study Scripture to collect information. We study it to know God and to be formed by Him while we wait for Him.
what we do
We gather students and young adults around two things: honest, Scripture rooted teaching, and prayer together. Our teaching library is built with professors, pastors, missionaries, student leaders, and other trusted voices, in short videos students can actually watch, share, and return to.
Maranatha officially launches on December 1, 2026. Until then, follow along on Instagram and YouTube, and pray with us.
The teaching library
teachings
Short, honest, Scripture rooted teaching on the things that shape a life with God, recorded with professors, pastors, missionaries, student leaders, and other trusted voices.
coming december 1
The library opens on launch day, December 1, 2026. Every teaching is a short video, about 10 to 15 minutes, filmed on campus and approved by the teacher before anything is posted.
Where the teachings will live
Full teachings will be posted on our YouTube channel, with clips and updates on Instagram. When the first videos go live, they will be linked from this page too.
Want to teach with us?
We are recording now. Pick a passage, a doctrine, a practice, whatever is on your heart. We bring the camera, handle filming and editing, and send you the final cut for approval first.
Teaching & prayer
pray with us
Prayer is not an extra at Maranatha. It is half of the vision. We seek God together, we intercede for one another, and we wait on Him.
Before December 1 · Start here
pray for the launch
If you are reading this before launch day, this is where to begin. Maranatha officially launches December 1 at 12:00 noon, and between now and then we are asking God to go before us. Pray these three things with us this week, wherever you are.
-
1
For the students who will find this community
That young adults who are hungry for God, or quietly looking for a place to belong, would find Maranatha and be met by Him here.
-
2
For the teachers & leaders recording with us
For the professors, pastors, missionaries, and student leaders preparing short teachings: wisdom, clarity, and the right word for this generation.
-
3
For a generation that seeks God first
That Maranatha would help form young adults who seek, pray, and learn, and who live ready: Come, Lord Jesus.
how we pray
-
1
We seek
We come to God first for who He is, not only for what we need. Seeking His face shapes everything else we ask for.
-
2
We intercede
We carry each other, our campus, and our professors, pastors, and leaders before God, and we stay with a request until He answers. Patient intercession is the posture we are learning.
-
3
We say maranatha
Every prayer ends in hope: Come, Lord Jesus. We pray like people who expect Him.
send us a prayer request
Carrying something heavy, or celebrating something good? Either way, we would be honored to pray for you. Send us a request through our prayer form and our community will pray over it. Requests stay within the Maranatha prayer community.
“The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16

teach with us
Maranatha is a community-based ministry of young adults focused on teaching & prayer. We are inviting professors, pastors, missionaries, and student leaders to record one short teaching video with us, and we'd be honored if you'd be one of them.
That's the rhythm of Maranatha. Your teaching would help students learn from voices they already trust: their professors, pastors, missionaries, and fellow student leaders.
an invitation
Hello,
I'm Zachary Schlipp, a student at Vanguard and part of Maranatha. We're building a library of short teaching videos for students: honest, Scripture-rooted teaching on the things that shape a life with God.
Would you record one with us? Pick a passage, a doctrine, a practice, whatever is on your heart. If you'd like, we're glad to suggest topics. Nothing is posted until you've seen the final cut and approved it.
Zachary Schlipp, Maranatha
